  • 2 teaspoons Green tea
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp mint


  • Place the tea leaves in a pot and pour 1 quart of water that has boiled and then sat for 5 minutes over the tea
  • Let steep 2-3 minutes
  • Pour through a sieve and return the tea leaves to the pot
  • Discard the first infusion
  • Pour hot, not boiling water over the tea leaves and steep 3 minutes
  • Pour through a sieve into a shallow bowl and stir in the sugar, let cool
  • Juice the limes and add to the tea
  • Place in the freezer and stir every 30 minutes with a fork to prevent large ice crystals from forming
  • Freeze about 4 hours, Serve garnished with mint leaves
