  • 3 pairs youtiao Youtiao is a long golden-brown deep-fried strip of dough 
  • 500 ml oil for frying

Sotong paste :

  • 100 g fish paste or cutterfish
  • 250 g cuttlefish /sotong paste
  • 100 g minced prawn
  • 1 small carrots diced
  • 10 water chestnuts diced
  • 3 springs parsley chinese, shredded

For the Marinade:

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp corn flour
